September 1996 was an active month for silverchair. They finally decided on
a name for their second album, worked on the cover art, received a very special award and began a tour of Australia with the American band Everclear.
As they were getting ready for the first of those shows, string arrangements
were recorded in New York for Cemetery, one of the new songs on the
album.
Of course, there was school to be dealt with, but there was time for fun as
well -- Chris, Daniel and Ben summoned John Watson to Newcastle to
celebrate their manager's birthday!
