North American Tour Unveiled

Silverchair will launch their North American tour to support their forthcoming
album, Neon Ballroom, on Feb. 16 with a showcase at the Bowery Ballroom in
New York.
After the N.Y. gig, the band embarks on a club tour in Atlanta on
March 10 and will hit major hubs across the U.S. and Canada throughout the month of March. The
tour wraps up April 1 in Los Angeles. The band plans on returning
to the States for a larger tour in late spring/early summer.
Neon Ballroom is out on Epic Records on March 16. The first single, "Anthem for the Year 2000,"
hits radio on Feb. 23. The video for the song was recently filmed at
Martin Place in Sydney, Australia, with director Gavin Bowdon at the
lens (Rage Against the Machine's "No Shelter," Live's "Lakini's Juice").
